Our client is one of the leading ICT companies in Europe which specialises in IT Security and Telecom solutions. DUe to their ongoing development, they are currently looking for a Database Administrator Microsoft SQL (m/f).
Establish and carry out daily administration of Microsoft SQL databases.
Provides an advanced level of databases monitoring, backups, control, security & documentation.
Guarantee availability and stability of the databases.
Design the database architecture divided across several datacenters locations.
Take ownership/responsibility of tasks assigned and issues arising in daily and project-related work including management of deadlines.
You have a degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
You have a minimum of 2 to 4 years of professional experience in Microsoft system administration and MS-SQL environments.
You can demonstrate a strong knowledge of MS-SQL (2005/2008).
You possess a good knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server (2003 - 2008) environments.
You are fluent in English and french both oral and written.
You have excellent communication skills in order to be in regular contact with international departments.
You have no problem to travel in other locations located outside of Luxembourg.
